Dan,
I think he was referring to the E-AC3 audio compression and not the DTS codec, ffdshow wont fix it, ffdshow is a requirement to run file convert/compression software like RipBot264 and video enhance programs like SVP4 Manager which I use on a regular basis.MozartMan wrote: ↑Sun Mar 04, 2018 4:51 pmDan,m2ts file is not Blu-ray disk, it is just a file container, like mkv.
I think the reason that I can play m2ts and mkv files with DTS audio is because I have ffdshow installed. Try it and see if you can play your MKV files.

Sure it will play DTS audio codec, however it will not play E-AC-3 digital audio compression which is the enhanced successor to Dolby Digital AC-3.MozartMan wrote: Why are you guys saying that Splash 2.0 cannot play DTS audio?
I have DTS test video file (.m2ts) from some Blu-ray disk and I can play that video file without any problem.
And audio track in that video file is DTS-HD MA (5.1, 48Khz).
