Reading your post I have the same issue but a few differences are: Using the latest version of 2.1.0.0 And when stopping recording using the AVI option only works for me.

MP4 sometimes does finish when stopping, MP4 Intel Sync MP4 Nvidia NVEC freezes action, and my whole pc having to kill the process in task manager, at times freezes my pc totally and have to cold reboot.

I've already reached out to customer support via email still waiting to hear back. I've only had this for a week, so hoping if a fix isn't figured out. I would like my money back.

Bonsoir,
Je rec avec Action Mirillis depuis longtemps et à la fin de la vidéo, je la transformer via l'exportation youtube de la version avi en mp4. Maintenant, Action crash et se r'ouvre pendant la transformation !
Que faire ? Une solution ?
Merci

Hello! I am confronted with a bug when I record a video part.
The recording of the video during the game goes well, the red Action button is displayed.
The final recorded video has a weight of 0 bytes.
When I return to the windows desktop, the icon in the task bar of Action mirillis is replaced by an R.

With the new 2.2.1.0 version I had it hang/crash at end of desktop recording today, resulting in corrupted recording. First time I've seen this happen in several months, perhaps that has been a regression in the code in the past version or two?

I rolled back to 2.2.0.0 and will see if it is more stable.

I just installed the update today and nothing works anymore...Crashes when stopping a recording. It was working fine before I allowed the update. How do I get the previous version so I can use this again???

Well I downloaded some versions from File Hippo so I could try to go back one version but that didn't work. So I found my license and installed my first purchased version (version 1.19) and am back up and running and not letting the updater hose me again with version 2.2.1 so I will wait until support gets back to me on how to proceed or where I can obtain the v2.2.0 so I can be more up to date with a working version. After I installed v1.19 I tried to install v2.2.0 on top of it and got an error about a dll and aborted and then had to clean the registry (Deleted Action Folder)as that just made a mess. This is with the commercial version.

Ok, so I removed my original version and cleaned the registry and installed the v2.2.1.0 and activated it. It still crashes when stopping a recording session in MP4 but works with AVI just fine. I guess I need to find a good AVI to MP4 converter until this gets fixed. :P I have a support ticket open so hopefully we can get this resolved.

2.3.0.0 still has this bug. Lots of lockups when trying to stop recording. Had to go back to 2.2.0.0 again.
