4K Video Playback

Sat Sep 13, 2014 7:28 pm

It seems as though Splash Pro EX doesn't support 4K (2160p) video? It's not very common yet, but I do record some game footage and other things with Action as well as export animations in 4k. When I do, Splash cannot open them. There isn't an error message or anything, it just hangs for a second at timestamp 00:00 and then jumps all the way to done. Is there a fix for this? If not, is there an update coming that'll add support?

Unfortunately there is no any release date for supporting 4k video playback.

How about the other editions, such as Splash TV? Since announcement, which incidentally took place in 2009, you have not done anything about it.
