To play video in HDR the video need to be in HDR and you need monitor with HDR support.

I am french please excuse me for my approximate english
I have a monitor and movies hdr, I am currently reading with Mpc-be, madvr and lavfilters the hdr is activated automatically without having to activate it in Windows 10 settings

It can also switch the display to HDR mode like madVR?
