mkv files artifacts

Tue Mar 01, 2016 11:24 am

Hi! I have a problem with Splash 2. When I play mkv files, once in a while the video is broken down into artifacts (see video). In other video players there are no artifacts.
It is a bug? It is very annoying. I like splash because it has detail boost (in other video players like bs player image is blurry because there are no boost detail option like splash).
Can you help me to solve this problem? Thanks!

I have the same, not really good software now, I had to use a competitor's software that worked very well indeed, which also plays H265, really well.

RIP Splash, it was a slow death

kabar, what is the name of your player? It has detail boost like splash? I have tried other video players but neither has the image as clearly as splash. An no 60fps either.

It does not gerbil, but it works, Splash has so many great features, it's a shame it is faulty.
