[MP4 issue] Converter issues (INVESTIGATING)

Sun Feb 12, 2012 8:41 am

Hi ho.

2 issues at my hand. One with sound, the other with the duration of the converted file.

1. Sound / MP4: when recording (no matter with which settings), everything works fine. I can play each and every .fic video beautifully. Once I convert those files to MP4 (720p, Mbps 7k, Audio1, Stereo) there is no sound anymore.

2. Same as above for the exporting part just that my 17GB file of BF3 ends up as a 56MB (!) file...of course, without sound.

I've already installed a Codec Pack from K-Lite (before: CCP) but it did not solve the issue. I guess it's either got to do with my Logitech Wireless 930 or with Codecs. Though I winder why .fic files work beautifully then as does FRAPs or even Playclaw

Any advice?

Do you use mic recording?
Can you please if microphone option set to "do not record" has any affect on the problem?

You might be ending up with MP4 issues because the media player does not support MP4 file format. Therefore instead of downloading the codes and application to which MP4 is compatible simply convert the MP4 video file using a reliable MP4 converter tool. This will definitely solve your problem.

Almost the same issue here, and as I could see, there are lots of people complaining about sound issues after exporting a video with Splash Pro Ex.

So what's the problem ? Basically after exporting the recorded video with Action!, there's no sound, slow sound, distorted sound or desynced sound.

Providing us with a fix would be gorgeous.

I have recorded a video and exported it to show the issue, please notice that YouTube added distortions after I have uploaded the video. That background noise was not present in the actual exported video.

Try to ignore the noise and focus on the in-game sound, that's the issue.
