AV1 Hardware Encoding Support?

This might have already been asked, if so my apologies, I'm not a regular reader. Is Action going to receive AV1 encoding support so as to utilize hardware AV1 encoding on GeForce RTX 40 series/Radeon RX 7000 series/Intel Arc GPUs? And if so, when might we expect that?
