Games taking Priority while in "Screen Mode"

Wed Oct 12, 2022 2:59 am

When playing certain games, the screen recorder will give the game priority no matter what mode I am in.
For example: No Man's Sky uses Vulken from my AMD card and I can't turn it off. Because of this Action! uses the Vulken.dll whatever it is called to give my game priority. It doesnt matter if I am in "Screen" or "Area" it will not take screenshots, will not record, and will not focus on what I want it to focus on. This is a huge issue. The programs just hooks into the game and wont let me record from any other monitor or source. It is frustrating.

It is normal that Action! hooks up to active 3D application in fullscreen mode. If you wish to play the game and record other screen add this game to exclusions in Action!

Go to Settings -> General, open Excluded processes list and add the game to the list.
