Stuttering Game Footage?

So, I had recorded video footage and it was perfectly fine. I went on to get more footage for my next video and all the footage is now skipping / stuttering frames. If I play the video files via the Action! player, they play nice and smoothly. If I open them in any other program, be it Windows Classic player, Windows Media Player, Mixcraft 8, etc.. it all stutters.
What may be causing this?

Hello, what are your recording settings? Does the issue occur in the latest version?
