Problem recording very-low-FPS game (workaround available)

Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead records very poorly for me with Action 2.5.5.0 on Win 7 64-bit. The game generally only updates the screen on keypresses and the recording seems to be about two frames (i.e. two game-screens) behind what's actually being shown at any given time. In a high-fps game this wouldn't be a big deal but Cataclysm: DDA has extremely low and variable FPS so the recording becomes unusable.
Workaround: Fortunately, recording in desktop mode doesn't have this issue. I can live with this, but reporting anyway just in case.
