I was trying to stream this evening and my microphone picked up all sounds while i did not press the button and when i did press the button i assigned to.

I'd like it to only record the sound onto live while i am pressing the button i assign it to.

Is that possible? and if so how?

Recording a gig presents a unique set of challenges. You may be a dab hand at studio recording, but it doesn't follow that you'll have an easy time recording a gig. You can't ask the band to run through it one more time!
