Action breaks Nvidia drivers?

So I currently have Nvidia driver 378.92 and the latest version of Action! but when I launched Action!, it made my screen flash a number of times and then killed the video card driver. This is kind of distressing, and I need help :/ I really don't want to revert to older drivers, as the games I want to record work best with the latest ones.

please try disabling NVIDIA share and make sure Action! is not set in any compatibility mode.
