Extra microphone audio channel doesnt work with editor

Sun Mar 12, 2017 5:29 am

Info
Action Version: 2.2.1.0
Recording Resolution: 1080p
Recording Mode: Game
Recording Frame Rate: 60
OS: Windows 10

Problem Description
Error Type: Exporting/Audio Channels
Video Editor: Davinci Resolve
Description: I recently tried to record a video using the feature where the microphone is saved to another audio track. This causes an issue with my video editor which I can elaborate on if needed. I was wondering if there is a way to make the number of audio channels in the video back to normal post recording so I can use the clip in the editor. The recordings are in MP4 format which Action doesn't let you export as a file.

Hello,
there is no easy way to merge two audio tracks into one.
But if you are using Sony Vegas and you have problem opening files with mulitple audio tracks here is the solution:
close sony Vegas, go to Sony Vegas location, open "FileIO Plug-Ins" folder and rename folder "compoundplug" to something else. When importing normal video files with one audio rename the folder back to 'compoundplug'.
