Action MP4 Not Working

Whenever I record in MP4 and use my microphone, regardless of hardware acceleration, Action stops working when I stop the recording. When I quit out of Action and try to open the video it says "Failed to open input file". Whenever I record in AVI the recording is fine, but this is without the mic. I first noticed this problem when I upgraded to version 2.2.0.0. Do you know how to fix this problem or is something wrong with my computer?
