Crash after Nvidia Driver 378.49?

Sat Feb 11, 2017 5:57 pm

Hello all,

I'm new to the forums but have been using action for nearly 3 years now. The problem that I have at the moment is that my action crashes among loading, this has only happened to me after I updated my Nvidia drivers to the newest and latest "version 378.49" for playing BF4, a decent game that I've been enjoying as of lately. I've uninstalled and reinstalled action multiple times in multiple versions (1.31.5, 2.0.4, 2.0.5, 2.1.0 and 2.2.0). I've also done 2 clean installs of Nvidia drivers, if anyone knows the cause for these symptoms I'd be greatly appreciative if you were to tell me. My suspiion is that it's Nvidia's drivers mucking it up.

Thanks very much in advance

Hello,
we are aware that new NVIDIA drivers may cause some issues on computers with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980TI and GeForce 920M.
We are still looking for a solution but issue may be not on our side.

Damn, I was wondering why it wouldn't start, just when my 980 Ti comes back from RMA :/

Hope Nvidia fixes it soon.

Hi, someone on Nvidia's forums has a solution and it works here : turn on Compute Optimisation in the Nvidia Control Panel (3D settings).
