For those having issues with Battlefield: Hardline

Wed Feb 04, 2015 2:02 pm

Make a "User.cfg" file in your game directory, and paste in: RenderDevice.PresentAsync 0

That should allow 3rd party screen recorders to get detected, including Action!.

Edit: If you want to see your actual FPS while recording and without using another software, paste: PerfOverlay.DrawFPS 1

Edit 2: If you're not sure about creating the file yourself, here's a download to the one I made (both ingame FPS counter and 3rd party recorder): https://www.mediafire.com/?808820ud56lm7vr

Edit 3: This technique may get you banned and treated like a hacker! Your loadouts will get locked and reset to default, prices will go up 1000%, and you will get blacklisted from the forum and ranked servers!

DON'T USE THIS!

It has always been fine in Bf3 and Bf4, and during both Betas of Hardline, but in retail you will risk getting a BAN!

I have been blacklisted from all ranked servers, and am treated like a hacker, so do NOT do this in retail!

Vsiceral may fix this in a future patch, but as of now it's extremely risky!

I tried this and after I created the file (and currently, even after I deleted it), whenever I try to join a server it just gives me a DirectX error:

Then it's not the file.

Try to repair your game and see if taht works. Frostbite is infamous for DirectX crashes.

All the file does is to automatically type in the console commands in the game, and it has nothing to do with game incompatibility.

Return to “Action! Screen and Game Recorder”
