Action! Speeds up video and audio at a different rate

Sat Dec 06, 2014 7:42 pm

Being a YouTuber in the gaming area requires a recording software but the the one I have been using is not compatible with the game I am playing. So, I go back onto the Internet to look for a recording software that is compatible. Thus, I found Mirillis Action!. I downloaded the free trial and I've been trying to capture Mafia II, but when I use the game capture option under .avi, the video is sped up and the audio stays the same. So the video ends in the middle whilst the audio lasts to the end of the video. I tried checking allow multi channel audio recording, but nothing changed. I tried switching to MP4, but it was worse. Both the video and audio was sped up, but they were not aligned. I see a lot of potential in this software, but simply can't get it to work. Thank you.

I have same problem, happens maybe 1/10 times. Audio never syncs up, then it is very hard to sync up in video editor as you can't just drag them to the same size. Very annoying. Some files the video also does not show. Some files the audio does not play.

Every video starts fine then a few seconds in the video it's ahead of the audio.

Here is a video of my issues. I'm noticing now that the audio is trying to speed up to catch up with the video. Never noticed that before, it usually just lagged behind:

At 1:25 you'll see the sync is way off to the gunfire.

Any ideas here? I see devs responding to other threads. Would love to get this working. Definitely better than Fraps.

I am having this exact same problem.
I emailed support yesterday but haven't gotten a response.

I would really love to see this resolved so I can start recording again, because before the new version came out, everything worked perfectly.
