Action! 1.19.2.0 CUDA encoding not available

Thu Oct 23, 2014 5:25 pm

OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit
Video Card: NVIDIA / EVGA GTX580 4-Way SLI
Memory: 32 GB
Monitor Resolution: 2560x1600
Video Editor: Vegas 13 & Adobe CS6
Game Problem: None
Video Type: AVI

Hello all,
I have been using Action! for years now and I have never encountered the problem I am currently having. I'm running Action! 1.19.2.0 with the latest NVIDIA drivers 344.48.

I haven't been using Action! for a little while, but I'm back at using it again and discovered that I can no longer encode my videos using CUDA with my GPUs. In the past I have always been able to use this.

Can anyone tell me if this is a known issue with the latest version of Action! or possibly a problem with the latest NVIDIA drivers? I have some really large video files I want to export and it will take a long time without the help of CUDA.

I am attaching a screen capture of the Export Settings page where the option to use hardware encoding is greyed out and cannot be selected.

Thank you!

Have you updated the video driver?
NVIDIA have removed the CUDA option.

The same here, i have installed a older one.

CUDA will be replaced with NVENC.
