Agreed, probably the best recording software out there in terms of quality. But till the ability to record 3 audio inputs is resolved it falls behind Dxtory.

There's something i don't get about this. Audio options are hardware related right? Like i have my headset set as my default audio source for Action, add to that my headset mic as secondary source.

So how does one set a third-party SOFTWARE (e.g. Teamspeak) as an audio source?

You can setup virtual audio cables, (for example use Voicemeeter allows you to do this). Once you got it setup, you have your hardware input as your mic, and then game sounds in one virtual cable and TS chat in another virtual cable. You can then setup Dxtory to record those virtual cables as well as your mic into three separate audio tracks, which once you load them into your editing software you can adjust volumes individually, or remove one all together, etc.

The weird thing is, Action allows you to record virtual cables. I can do that without any problems. The issue is that it will only record TWO sources. They are very close. All they would need to do is add the ability to add a third source and you'd have an awesome piece of software. Now I'm not technical, but it seems they've done the hard part, which is allow their software to record virtual audio sources, they now just need to add the ability to add one more and then you can record your mic and TWO difference virtual audio sources, and they've got the best recording software on the market.

I'm fairly sure I've simplified the issue, but from my very non-technical view, they are so close I don't understand why they aren't implementing this!?

Could you work on lowering the CPU usage? It seems to have crept up quite a bit in the more recent versions compared to old ones. Like just doing some simple desktop recording with quicksync, the older ones would only use around 3% of the CPU and my laptop fan would hardly come on. The current version bounces between 9% and 15% and my fan never stops running at a medium rate.

Multiple audio sources (in separated tracks). That's the only feature that I'm waiting to buy this software. I'm currently testing the trial version and using Dxtory as default one.

I guess the latest update did that, because I did not have that issue when I recorded in Desktop when Mantle came out for BF4.

Seperate audio channel for each source and a way to control background noise. eg, keyboard noise.
