For instance, the user's "Desktop" folder is not easily available. You have to navigate to c:\users, then c:\users\xxxxx, and finally c:\users\xxxxx\desktop.

This is actually better than my suggestion of using numerous other codecs.

I asked for that in the initial post. I believe it needs to be done, but it's up to Mirillis to decide.

Only one wish :

Automatically switch between Game Mode (DirectX/OpenGL) and Active Screen (Desktop) Mode, depending on the active mode when recording.

For example, I set up Action! for game recording, but it would be nice if the software would switch to desktop recording if I press the F9 button when "in Windows" without me having to manually switch the recording mode.

Screen Mode do this.

You're right, thank you.

But when closing Fifa 09 while recording, a "Fifa 09 stopped working" message shows up. I know the "normal" procedure would be to stop recording and only after that to close the game, but I'm wondering if this is OK. It doesn't bother me too much (after all, the game application closes anyway), but still...

Thank you again for the solution you posted earlier.

P.S. The recording process and the resulting video file are not affected by this.

It seems that the faulty module is atiumdva.dll. I would start with SFC scann on your PC to see if there are any missing or broken files.

Hello all,

first, sorry for my bad english i hope you can understand it. ;)

So my wishes obtains the upload modul via youtube.

okay let it start it!

1. Youtube Tags

In the currently version of action can't we not writing the tags into the youtube video, when we it uploading the actually file to the account, than we must be editing the tags in the videomanager on youtube.

2. Youtube Thumbs
What i here want is, that we can uploading a thumbnail picture from the pc into the actually uploading file.
Maxi Resolution 1280x720px and max size 2 Megabite.

3. Youtube Description
Actually is the field for the description in action a little bit buzzy, than we can only a certain of words typing into this field.
I wish we can in the future better typing longer text in this field expand. Screenshot under this text.

Image

I Hope u can try this into the next version of action.

Thank you for participation!

Choosing audio sources or some way of adding teamspeak skype vetrillo and other audio sources to record in another audio track.
This would be neat but i do get that it might be impossible or very hard to achieve

We really need higher higher bitrates for intel quick sync, games with lot of grass look absolutely terrible (like dayz or arma 3 for example, probably GTA V as well when it comes out).

I know you said it's optimized for maximum performance, but come on, put it in just as an option (somewhere hidden in advanced settings at least, to use at our own risk).
