Audio is weird!

Thu Mar 06, 2014 11:30 am

Hello,

I recently use Action! and I like it!
It has a nice UI and it doesn't eat your FPS.

but however, the audio is a little weird.
when recording footage my sound (with mic) and also the voice of my friend through skype is a little bit glitchy...
I don't know why it is like this... I tried everything...

"use multi channel" is also checked btw.

And when I record my audio with 'audacity' there's no audio glitch problem, but the problem there is that the audio is not in
sync with the video...

I uploaded my videos on youtube so you can check out what I mean:

audio recorded with AUDACITY (so out of sync but no audio glitch):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rgJgCYM79Y

audio recorded with ACTION! (so in sync but audio glitch):

I hope you guys can help me!

It seems that your microphone is gathering all the surrounding sounds. What microphone do you use?

bump

Hi there,

I have exactly the same problem with Mirillis. And it is not a problem with a microphone. I used to record with Mirillis and Audacity and everything was absolutely fine (on older version, before you switched to the new codec - btw do you now, how to record with Audacity and Mirillis with FIVC codec, because the audio is always longer than the video)... anyway... I noticed this crackling sound in voice track when I record in 1080p... when I record in 720p, it's ok (although recently the same crackling sound happened to a video of Dead Island Epidemic recorded in 720p).

Because of this problem I can't record most of my videos in 1080p. I thought it is because of lower specs of my computer - i tried to lower the quality of voice track, but it didn't help.

I realise I'm a little late to the party, but for anyone who might be searching with a similar problem;

I encountered this issue whilst using version 2.3.0.0 or Miriliis Action!

I solved it by changing the audio device away from my Blue Snowball Microphone and instead to the "System Default". Before I did this, there was a crackling sound across all voice tracks.

Bizarre behavior.

You'll need to change the setting in Audio Settings and Microphone Settings. Job done.

I met the same issue whilst using version 2.3.0.0 Miriliis Action.and i searched a lot until i downloaded the android avi software. I solved this problem by changing the audio setting through the software. After i did this, it was no any crackling sound anymore.
