1.17 BETA Reduced Quality?

I've just started using the beta recently and I swear that the quality has gone down from what 1.16.3 had. Recording in 1080p AVI and black's look washed out, and smaller details look blurry. Is this just me, or has anyone else noticed this with the current version?

Also I know that performance has increased (most of the time now I only lose 2-4 FPS), so has Mirillis sacrificed quality for less of a performance hit? :| If this is the case I wouldn't mind a slight higher FPS hit for better quality.

Check your setting, black wash out? Make sure you set input range: 0-255.
