Action cuts my Microphone volume

For some reason, Mirillis action seems to cut my microphone volume to a certain point which makes my voice sound distorted. I've tried increasing the microphone volume in the program itself but it keeps on doing it. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi, i don't think a video sample would help but here is a picture that shows my problem.

The top track is one audio source (not my microphone). The volume ranges throughout the video and doesn't sound distorted. The bottom track is my microphone. As you can see, the volume only reaches a specific point and won't go above that. That problem makes my microphone sound distorted. If i record my microphone with another program like Audacity it doesn't happen but I don't want to have to record my audio in one program and my video in another. How can I fix this problem?
