Multiple Issues

I purchased Mirillis Action! based on many videos and friend saying it was pretty good. However, I'm running into an issue with framerate and being able to open my files, and it's a bit disappointing.

Sony Vegas Pro 12, will not properly open files recorded with Intel Quick Sync. It plays the sound, but no video. I've read where people recommend installing FFDShow to resolve the issue. I installed that, it did not work for me.

Second, I lose 30 FPS while recording. Despite what is advertised and despite what other's claim, I just lose ~30 FPS in any game. Settings do not matter here. I can record 1080p, 720p, AVI, MP4 (Quick Sync), 30 FPS, 60 FPS. Doesn't matter. I lose 30 FPS in any game I try to record. I was under the impression that, on top of lower file sizes, Quick Sync was supposed to IMPROVE PERFORMANCE. That is definitely not the case.

Just to be on the safe side, here is my setup:

Intel i7 4770k @ 4.8Ghz
Nvidia GTX 570 x2 in SLI
16 GB DDR3 RAM
80 GB SSD dedicated to OS and programs
120 GB SSD dedicated to games
2x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black (7200 RPM) in RAID 0, dedicated to recording


This system gives me almost zero performance hit with Dxtory and FRAPS. But I was looking for that PLUS the reduced file size. That's not what I'm getting here. :/
