recording in original mp4?

Mon Nov 04, 2013 12:05 pm

Hello!
Why can I do not record in MP4 original or 1080p? It says I need Intel® Quick Sync Video Technology. This comes with Intel Core i3 -i7 right?
So I have an i7 but I still can not record in mp4 1080p or Original. Do I have to do other things to record in this format?

Greetings

To me, the first generation of i7 CPU's does not seem to be supported. My i7 920 does not play with any Intel QuickSync and it most likely your i7 930 cannot do either. :|

Might wait and see if they gonna "unlock" the higher resolutions, without the need of QuickSync. But hard to say, if they gonna do.

I believe 1080p H.264 is only available with Intel Quick Sync because the performance drop would be too large, with H.264 being very demanding. If Action does indeed support GPU's for encoding in the future things might be different.
