Problem with audio (cracking sound)

So whenever I record with Action my voice audio is cracking so bad. I cant understand myself half the time with all the cracking sounds. The program records game sounds just fine with no issue, but when it comes to my voice it doesn't work at all. I've tried messing with the audio settings and using different mics, and nothing seems to work. Please help, this is driving me crazy!!
