everything is on the lowest settings. Again, the audio only recording works. Video + audio doesn't. If that can't be resolved I would like to have a refund please. FRAPS works perfectly on my computer and I have no dodgy set up or anything. PC is 8 months old and standard config in every aspect.

I thought you are from the company that sells the software providing support. Is that not right?

Jumping in here Radi, because the OP is having the same issues as me with the same Asus Sound card.

This is a pretty ridiculous start up just to get the basic video + audio functioning :/. I'm having a hard time understanding why Action! is having difficulties with a very commonly used Soundcard brand/software.

Have Action ever worked with asus sound cards?

As far as I know it's working fine with most Asus Xonar cards but with disabled GX and HF function. Did ASUS recently release any new drivers for their Xonar cards?

Not that I know of. I haven't done a driver update since I installed the card originally. also, I added screenshots to my thread.

Holy shit!

I actually finally figured it out.

Ok here's the steps. I finally am recording system sounds!

Asus Audio Centre: Make sure HF & GX are highlighted white (off).

Go into playback settings, Make sure your speakers are set to 44hz & Set the default recording device to "Wave".

Once in wave, make sure it's properly set for your sound card (don't use system default) & 44hz as well. My asus centre is 48hz.

All I did was that and its finally working, desktop & region mode all work with sound.
