When I record audio, is there anyway I can make it record system sounds and my mic sounds seperately? Thanks, also when I record audio, sometimes it comes out skipping.

Yes, you can use "Record microphone into separate audio track". It's still in the same file, but once you import your file into Sony Vegas for example you will have two audio tracks. One for system sounds and one for microphone.
