[Sugestion] Higher Resolution Support

Tue Dec 11, 2012 7:49 pm

Hi,

first of all - big thanks for that great and the best recording software on the market !
just bought it yesterday and i'm really pleased :)

but i have a problem with changed resolution after exporting my recordings.

i’m using and playing at my highest resolution 1920x1200 but when i try to export my recording-no matter is’t set in “Video Recording” – “Video Size” as “Original” or 1080p...after export i get always 1740x1086 resolution.

i’m using “Games and applications” and tried different exporting profiles :

- output profiles: 1080p ( Main and High ) with both Normal and High video quality and always get 1740x1086

even trying 720p export with different settings give me 1280x800 with is scaled looking at native 720p resolution.

i was told by the technical support that is caused by the 16:10 aspect ratio with my 1920x1200 resolution where Action! just try to adjust to the closest resolutin possible while exporting.

ufff....enough of that long post:

so my suggestion and question would be - is there a chance for future support for higher resolution exporting ?

regards

We do plan to increase the supported resolution in the future, but currently the Full HD (1920x1080p) is main standard.

sooooo...do we have any new info on that ?

more and more people every day play in higher resolution than widely popular 1920x1080 so it would be great to be able to export them in original resolution and aspect ratio

i would like to bring back that subject as i think high quality recordings + HD gaming is getting more common, not mentioning gamers and enthusiast with multiply displays

so is this option being consider ?
