Would you compare it with Camtasia Studio too?
Yes, will make one but will need to do it on high spec PC as Cam studio performance is very very low.

I think a nice addition could be an option to split a single recording on to multiple physical hard drives, using them simultaneously, and merge to a single video file at the end, as to prevent Hard disk bottlenecks during capture.

there's a tool named "Dxtory" which is doing it to speed up FPS while capturing.

Dxtory produces output files few times larger than Action! so you would need to split it to 3 or more HDDs to stress HDDs like Action! does. We do not exprienced any bottlenecks connected with disk write. This should not be a problem with Action!
Anyway we have this feature somewhere on our list for long term plans but we hope it will be unnessesary.

Tomorrow we plan to publish some comparison tests (FRAPS, Camtasia Recorder, Bandicam). First for desktop recording, more test will be added gradually.

Great!

Yes, but HDD has enough write speed.
For example: 50MB/s = 400Mbps :?
I know the most of programs capture in RAW AVI.
