Record Files are Silent

Tue Oct 14, 2014 5:02 pm

OS: Windows 7
Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti 2GB
Memory: 16 GB
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Video Editor: Power Director 12
Game Problem: All of them
Video Type: AVI

Hey guys! I have been using Action Mirillis for some time, and enjoyed it thoroughly, up until recently wherein I find the program recording silent video files.

I initially recorded using my headset, which was plugged in via USB, and the video files would work fine, however, if I needed the USB slot and had to record without the headset, I could hear the game sounds through my regular headphones in the regular Audio Slot, but nothing in the video file recorded.

Stranger more, when I tried recording my desktop, YouTube, would work fine again without the USB headset in use, but once I loaded up a game? Nothing. No sound at all. Not sure if you can remedy this?

Thanks for any help offered!

Video headset...?

Well, I'm using a Turtle Beach Earforce PX22 and the audio card is a ASUS Xonar DX Audio Device...?

Sorry, I am not using a video headset.

EDIT: AH, sorry, I see the confusion. No, my headset is audio only. No video headset at all. The video plays on my monitor just fine, but there is only sound recorded when my audio headset is plugged in.

The video headset was just a typo ;) Are you using any special effects on your Xonar panel?

Not that I am aware... I haven't really touched it. The Xonar panel does play, I can HEAR the game, but the recorded file, apparently, does not.

Thanks for your time, BTW.

Could you post a screenshot of your Xonar panel and main Action! window?
