I have found the codec "ficvdec_x86.reg" in order to use the ficv codec on my computer for editors. However, it does not appear to actually WORK.
After installing to the registry (And being seen in the registry), it still does not work.

To install the codec properly you have to install Action! (even trial version) on the computer where you would like to want it.

That makes a little bit more sense.
But can you elaborate? What exactly do you mean by "where you would like to want it"?

Some users record their footage on one PC but edit it on another where they don't have Action! for example. Because Action! has been never installed there they will not be able to play their videos unless the install trial version to install the video codec.

I never said there were separate PC's though. This is one computer. With the FULL version of Action! on it. And secondly, the trial IS the full version. They aren't different programs, just purchasing a license gives full access.

Well, non-the-less, my problem is still persisting.
I appreciate your help, but nothing you said has yet to fix my problem.
