exception code c0000005

my splash pro ex opens but closes right away then i get error c0000005,has anybody ever had this problem and how do i fix it?
Try this:
1. Uninstall Splash PRO EX
2. Press Start and then type "Regedit" in search and press Enter.
2. Go to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Mirillis/
3. Remove Splash catalogs.
4. Reboot your PC.
5. Install Splash PRO EXagain.
