Subitles problem ?

1.How the subtitles can be moved all the way to the bottom ?

2.Synchronization adjustment it's only 5 seconds +/- ?

There are just 7 options on "Subtitles" tab, why just not to check them?
Disabling "Display subtitles on video" is what you are looking for.

And answer for second question is yes.
Desktop (Intel i7-970, ATI 5870, Windows 7 x64)
