@radi We want 4K/8K 8/10bit 4:2:0/4:2:2 H.264/HEVC/ProRes playback or it'll be useless.
Just take a look at MPC-HC (LAV) and other players... :idea:

Absolutely right!

They announced Splash BD, TV and HD-Cam over 6 years ago and there is still nothing available
so maybe we will have luck if they release Splash Pro / Pro Ex in 2050, when 24k is the standard on all tablet and TV screens.

So it's better to move away from this company and get another player. I also sold my license already because an update
will never happen in my opinion.

Well, this is still 2015, so there's still time for Splash PRO's new version to come. I personally think it's worth take a look to the new 2.0 Splash before moving to other product. Would help if @radi could give us an update about the project. Thanks!

Splash BD has been dropped due to technical reasons.

Wow! It's been five months since your your last post yet we still don't know anything about Splash 2.0 and you inform us that Splash BD has been dropped out. What an elaborate status update!

This company really just pulls people's legs. After years of no update, they announced the new player was coming in 2015 yet here we are in the middle of October and there is yet to be some information, screenshots or any trial version of the final product to come. I really can't believe your company policy, ignoring people who paid for your product.

The Mirillis company simply does not give a shit about customers.

I hope the new version will be a success, so we keep getting more support, updates, new features and improvements. I'll spread the word!

It's fascinating how some people still blindly believe that they will get Splash 2.0
