Deinterlace issue with 1080i Mpeg-2 playback

Sun Jun 27, 2010 1:45 pm

Hello all.

I have recently installed the trial version of the new Splash PRO.

My system includes the following HW elements:
Pentium SU4100 (mobile dual core 1.3GHz processor);
Intel 4500MHD;
2GB of RAM.

I have issues during playback of HDTV (1080i) recorded content (encoded in Mpeg-2) both with and without deinterlacing.

Without it I have some occasional and strange "flashes".

With it turned on what I got are some playback stutters from time to time, mainly during fast moving scenes.

I´ve tried to disable the advanced deinterlace in Intel graphics properties with no success.

My CPU usage during playback is less than 20% even with deinterlacing turned on.

Any clues on how to solve these issues?

Thanks.

Please check the latest generic Intel graphics drivers.
