Few questions

Fri Jun 25, 2010 3:38 pm

1. Are you planing to add anything from this post? in particular DVB-S, PGS subtitles and FLV.
2. When are you planing to release BD and TV versions? Are you planing to support 3D-BD?
3. Is the registration is for Lifetime? What about upgrades for new versions? (not updates)
4. Are you planing to release a Ultimate version? If yes, when and will it be discounted for customers which already bought other versions?
5. Splash Lite have limited support for DVB-T, i think it's absurd that even if i'm buying the PRO version i still need to use the Lite version for DVB-T. I do understand that you are planing a TV version with full support for DVB-T, but why not to add the same limited support that there is in the Lite version to the Pro version?

Thanks.

Hi nunatak,

thank you for very constructive questions.

1. yes, DVB-S in Splash TV
2. TV before BD, no exact date, 3D-BD - yes
3. lifetime, we didnt event think of shorter licence ;), updates for free, upgrades with very attractive discount. Seeing Splash PRO price can you still think we are greedy? :( Remember we pay a lot for licencies and patents (a LOT!)
4. Ultimate version would have to cost as much as Splash BD + some licences from DVD, TV, HD-Cam and PRO, now we can not release it, but of course, there will be a discount for Splash customers.
5. because Splash PRO would be more expensive (DVB related licencies)

hope answered all :)
regards,

nunatak
