I just purchased one of these devices and Splash Player is by far my favorite media player and I think support for this would be great.
The limitation is it only supports specific codecs:
And maybe transcoding videos to meet the requirements of these codecs is outside the scope of the player. All Google Cast devices at a minimum support the following media types:Video codecs: h.264, VP8
Audio decoding: HE-AAC, LC-AAC, CELT/OPUS, MP3Containers: MP4/CENC, WebM, MPEG-DASH, SmoothStreamingLevel 1 DRM support: Widevine, Playready
I just figured I would bring this to your attention.
Developer information for the chromecast can be found here: https://developers.google.com/cast/
Keep up the great work
