YAY!! Thank you for continuing to develop Splash!! Action! sounds interesting, but I really love your media player. Hopefully we will see the addition of VOBSUBS, chapter recognition, and a few other needed features. Excellent work so far though. I utilize this player several times a week, and rarely find the need to turn to other players anymore. Great to see development on Splash is still alive.

I think if you can make Splash as fully featured as some of the other media players out there while still maintaining its simplicity and effectiveness that make Splash so good, you will have huge success with the product.

Looks like you tightened up the motion^2 a lot. Significantly less artifacts around the edges, especially with foreground/background screens. Good stuff.

That "Stability improvements" don't seem to work for me. In fact, I found this new versions pretty instable. For example this video crashes instantly after start. As far as I remember it worked in 1.11.0. It was not the only one with this kind of problem. Other movies also crashed Splash at first or when I tried to jump in them, but second time Splash was able to play them.

I also get a lot of mkv crashing now in Splash Pro EX Edition, never use to, anyone got a working link to version 1.10...please.

Thanks in advance

After a bit of review, I can 'third' the above comments. My guess is it is a memory management. Check your variable initialization, or your cache if you have one.

Example:

Faulting application name: SplashPro.exe, version: 1.12.0.0, time stamp: 0x4eb40551
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x10028d83
Faulting process id: 0x139c
Faulting application start time: 0x01cc9df2a6be03f2
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mirillis\Splash PRO\SplashPro.exe
Faulting module path: unknown
Report Id: cb7944d1-09ef-11e1-b99f-00268314b9c4

Ill pass along debug information the next time it occurs.

Thank you guys for reporting problems.
We are investigating this. Can you please check if problem exists when all Picture2 enhacements (Motion2, DetailBoost and LightBoost) are disabled?
