Hi,

If it is not certain I can understand that. However, I do would like to know if upcoming release will have a support for "x265 HEVC Encoder / H.265 Video Codec"

Thanks.

Hi,

In v2 please take a look at x264 movies form nvidia shadowplay - its run fine on WMP and it is the only type of codec that not run on Splash with is a annoying.

If I ask - please submit Splash 2.0 to Windows 10 Store - it will support win32 app and it will by very convenient for user to just download that from there (there is possibility to manage licence after free download from store - so you do not have to share with the MS).

thanks.

I'm currently using Media player classic home edition with SVP (Smooth Video Project). I tried Splash in the past but found it a bit too limited (not many features and options).

There are two things I would be interested in for v2.0:
H265 support and 10-bit colour support.

Are they planned?

PS
I currently do not own Splash player, but am keeping an eye on this application.

I'm really fed up with their promises. I have switched my video player to MPC HC with Smooth Video Project and I must say it's way better. Moreover, I don't think I will ever come back to any Splash player. No artifacts, lower CPU consumption. The Mirillis team should take a few lessons from guys responsible for Smooth Video Project.
