Thanx to Mirillis Team!

Thank you guys for Splash player.
With only Splash player i was able to play 1080p60 h264 files from Sanyo FH1 camcorder. CPU usage less than 10% on my laptop. Combination of MPC+CoreAVC1.9.5, Nero, Cyberlink PowerDVD cannot play avc 60p 1920x1080 25Mbps at all. Thanx!

Hi,

This the best player that I have ever come across. I need to convey my message to them but couldn't find the link to post a new topic. Please tell me how to do it.

Thanks
Karthik

I just checked some sanyo 1080p 60fps h.264 samples.

MPC+CoreAVC 2.0 (w/CUDA) plays @ ~40fps, GPU Usage: 40%
MPC+CoreAVC 2.0 (w/o CUDA) plays @ 60fps, GPU Usage: 50%

Splash Lite 1.0.5 (HW Acceleration Enabled) Plays @ 60fps, GPU Usage: 10%
Splash Lite 1.0.5 (HW Acceleration Disabled) Plays @ 60fps, GPU Usage: 44%

I'd say its a win for Splash this time. good work guys !

Try using DXVA in MPC-HC... It's much better than Core AVC with h/w acceleration (btw, it's not using CUDA, like they say...)
But still Splash Lite is better - by the cost of more GPU using.
Desktop (Intel i7-970, ATI 5870, Windows 7 x64)
Acer Aspire TimelineX 3830TG (Intel i5-2410M, nVidia GT540M, Windows 7 x64)
PS Vita, Nokia N8

Coreavc(2.0) is good for software decoding.Anyway better than splash, even when it used overlay.MPC+coreavc=KMP+coreavc=anyplayer+coreavc=coreavc .Player in this case works as a gui.I like Splash for the simple interface and right decoding.I never saw a crashed picture on it.When correct decoding with acceleration is impossible-Splash does not try to make it.
and Thanx to Mirillis Team!
