bugs found ?

Mon Dec 21, 2009 7:19 pm

i am using the dl version 1.05.

1st.
i cant use the seek bar if playing an hd avc mkv file

edit :

it works with some files but it wont work with others codec and container are always the same... is may depend on the index of the file if seek is available ore not.

2nd.
no manual aspect control is possible. some videos are wrong scaled

3rd.
i cant find a way to adjust brightness and contrast manual.

i hope your motion estimation type will be as good as the one wich is available via avisynth and ffdshow. i am watching your player now a long time and if the pro version can make it better faster and with an higer quality than ffdshow/avisynth you will have one customer.

and also i hope you know about the way avisynth and ffdshow is working this out.

This problem is probably fixed and fix will be available in next Lite 1.1 release. Currently there is problem when seeking MKV files with corrupted/incomplete index.

This features are not available yet, but both are scheduled for future versions.

Our main target is "quality" and we hope to get really great quality here.
Performance should be much better as we are going to use both GPU and CPU.
We also care much about user interface and ease of use. Using Motion² will be as easy as enabling/disabling hardware acceleration in current Splash Lite - just one tick to select.
