in some videos mkv videos with ac3 audio 320 bit / 640 bit there is no audio to hear
Extensive aspect ratio control for 4:3, 16:9 and 1.85:1 - 2.40:1 will be available in Splash Lite 1.2 soon. Thanks for the feedback about problematic ac3, we will try to fix this ASAP.

1) The Lite product only has 10 second seeks. Is there any way to change this to a different length or define a second set of keys that will do 30 or 60 second seeks?
Yes, this will be available in Splash Lite 1.2 soon. (2 alternative ways : custom default value set in settings, and Shift + Arrow - 2x default value). Thanks for a great suggestion!
ChuckR wrote: 2) When you are in full screen mode and you seek, there is no indication on the screen as to where you are in the time line. If it could pop up the current time pointer and the maximum file time it would be GREAT!
In Splash Lite 1.2 the timeline/control panel will pop up for 3 seconds after seek using keys.
ChuckR wrote: 3) Why is "Start Full Screen" grayed out in the settings and cannot be selected?
We have decided to remove this feature in Splash Lite 1.2. We may add this as a working functionality in future releases.

Ok, it's me again with some fresh problems :)
1)It's happens only using h/w acceleration, only with ...x480@29.97fps video(640x480, 720x480, 848x480). With other framerates - no problems (even with 30), with other resolution - also no problems.
It's look like interlaced video with wrong field order(but it is progressive) or decreased 2 times vertical resolution and then upscaled... So the NTSC video is unwatchable...
Screenshots (fullscreen - just to see this effect better, it is not depends on playback resolution)
Software (no problems):

2) In 60fps video "step frame" sometimes steps more than 1 frame...

3) about video that can't be played using h/w acceleration
I don't know why but there are some videos that nor MPC using DXVA nor CoreAVC (Cuda) nor Splash Lite can't play, that are not High@L5.0+

It shows black screen (if using h/w)...
P.s. it's amasing that switch between h/w and software mode is instant - just seeking in video is enough for decoder reInitialization - so manual switching isn't much annoying. In MPC, for example, you have to restart the player ;)

I heard about 2 h/w limitations - first is level (that is not problem there), the second is not standart AR (or resolution?) (e.g. I also have couple of 1024x... that are not being played as well)

4) Eco mode is really nice feature, it's interesting to see how power effecient my netbook is, comparing to the toshiba :D
But one time it sayed that I have NiMH battery, I don't know why... also it often shows too high power consuption (e.g. over 130W, while the normal is about 10-15. That's because 100->95% changes in 1 step (so it changes a lot in short period of time), then by the 1%). So the algorithm should be improved :)
And what the Advanced power managmend would be? It will change CPU mode (balanced, high perfomance e.g.) or will change CPU and/or GPU speed basing on load?

5) When trying to play video with separate .ass subtitle file - the player doesn't responding (+ high CPU load). I'll try to determine which tag or setting or timing or other thing cause this problem (because I have made 2 subtitle's that mostly the same - but only one of them has this problem).

UPD: code tag rules :)

And a little suggestion - since you are going to add "change AR" functionality it would be nice to see such feature:
if AR of video differences from monitor AR less than for 1% it would be streched to the full screen.

Why? Since having 16:9 display (desktop and other notebook has 16:10) it was nice to view video without any black strips. But due to the standarts some video's are not exactly 16:9 - e.g. 848x480 is 1.7(6), not 1.(7), and that is the reason why they have 1-2 pixel black strips.

So it would be nice to see such option :)
