Video Problem

Tue Dec 15, 2009 5:51 am

when i tried to play AVI video with Xvid codec, the video wont show up, there is only sound. then, when i tried to use Xvid codec with splash lite, the video is terrible. may be its because the splash lite dont have "Xvid codec" ?

I think Splash uses external codecs for xvid and divx. I tried original Divx codec and latest ffdshow and both work fine with splash. Try ffdshow or divx, it should work fine.

We would like to ask for some more info about the problem:
*Does it repeat with all xvid or divx videos or only with one file?
*Could you detail what does mean "looks nasty"?
*What version of Splash Lite do you use?
