Splash Lite, Windows 7 x64 and DVB-T

Mon Dec 14, 2009 5:22 pm

Hello,
I've contacted your support about a month ago rearding issues with Splash Lite 1.0.5 DVB functionality and Windows 7 x64.
Basically, when trying to perform channel search, nothing happens no matter how long I wait (see attached image).
I was informed it was a known issue and that it's on the TODO list.
I just want to ask if there's some progress regarding this issue, as I see nothing mentioned on the 1.0.6 thread.
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work, Adam.

Hi Adam,

The problem is still being investigated. At the moment we know that this problem concerns specific tuner models. We expect that it will take some time for a fix as we do not have your tuner model in our labs yet, but it is on our order list and as soon as we have it we will fix this problem ASAP. We will keep you informed.

Hi, i`a using Gigabyte U8000 hybrid that uses DibCom tuner and i have the same problem. Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64, but tried in Vmware Windows XP Pro and everything worked.

Today tried the new version of Splash and it shows me error when i`m opening program.

"Critical error during initialization

This application cannot be executed."

Changing compability modes doesn`t help. :(

Tried 1.1 myself.

Moving on to 1.2
Splash Lite isn't crashing anymore like in 1.1.
But back to the beginning - nothing happens on channel scan.

Hello adam777,

What region have you selected in the TV settings (Europe, Australia... etc.).

Thanks for the info.

Hello Watchman,
Tried about anything, even manually selecting the needed frequency, but europe seems right.
I believe it's some kind of initialization problem,as the activity light never goes on in the receiver.
Oh, I see I forgot to write my model, it's recognized as AF9015 BDA.
