There is no viruses in Download Manager for Splash Lite. Some anti-virus software consider Download Managers as a threat due additional applications that user may install during downloading process. They are not required for installing Splash lite and can be skipped during downloading process.

If you are still worried about using Download Manager please contact our support team and ask them for offline installer. It does not contain Download Manager.

hello, I know there are no viruses, it's just those let's call them "crapware" that you add in the installer. I can tell you that avast won't even let me download splash lite because of those bad rated software you add.
seriously, no offense, but this is happening for months. don't you think it's finally time to remove those things from the installer and let the installer clean/untouched?
this is making the company look bad and I don't like that because you make really good quality software. there isn't a better video player out there than splash!

please listen to me and remove those pathetic things from the installer. this isn't good for us or for you!

I'm using AVG virus protection and starting this evening, every time I load a thread, I get an alert warning from my SurfShield Protection for "marketing spyware" on each page-load.

Is anything being done different?
