Error installing the installer

Downloaded the installer. Installer gives me an error message on launching that there is a "connection problem". I'm connected to the internet constantly - hardlined in - and have no problem installing anything else. I even attempted to cut windows firewall completely, but it still said there was a "connection problem". Is there some type of workaround to where I can just download the setup.exe file for Splash Lite without the installer?
