How about adding 30p mode? It would eliminate juddering with 60 Hz monitors but still would be pretty close with 24p, and I assume it wouldn't be as CPU consuming as 60p mode.

So, it is not fixed at all. Splash simply still doesn't support header removal compression.

Today :) partially... Splash Lite 1.4 installer assoccs video files by default (unfortunately we cannot change this with current installer software but will change it in the future). Supported video files have individual icons. This is the excuse. I think no associations is better than forced assoc...

Video is still jerky with Splash Lite 1.4 like it was in 1.3. Reverting back to good ol' 1.2 where video is smooth. It's a shame because there is so many improvements in 1.4.
