I must say I'm also disappointed with this new installer. It's pretty tricky for someone with little knowledge to install it without the crapware. It is somehow pathetic to use this stuff for a free product, when you have many other advanced versions that you charge for. You should have the Lite as ...
I have checked many video files for this error, and I have found a dozen one... All of them had DTS soundtrack. While I was doing that, I got the message about the update, so I have installed 1.12.1 and tried it again. I can tell, that the problem seems to be solved with this new version, as none of...
That "Stability improvements" don't seem to work for me. In fact, I found this new versions pretty instable. For example this video crashes instantly after start. As far as I remember it worked in 1.11.0. It was not the only one with this kind of problem. Other movies also crashed Splash at first or...
Nice updates with 1.4. I'm also waiting for WMV support... :) Please return to the v1.0-like update frequency. Having a +0.1 bump each two months is nice, but also having +0.01 changes with small bug fixes in the mean time is much nicer. Multiple language support is very welcomed. Where can it be se...
I want to ask you a bit about yourselves :) 'Who' is Mirillis? Where is your headquarter? How many employees you have? ...and so on. Because here is this player no one heard before (okay, maybe as Oxygen Player), coming out of 'nowhere', yet capable of playing HD videos, with some special capabiliti...
An other suggestion then: please, make it possible to drag'n'drop files onto the desktop icon (to start Splash for playing the video). I can do that with all of my players (and I consider it as a basic Windows feature), except Splash Lite.
By v1.1 I meant Splash Lite not its core. 1.0.6 tells me, that some of the bugs in 1.0.5 have been fixed. 1.1 would tell me, that there is something new in it. For the core, stepping from 1.0 to 2.0 seems quite justified. Anyway, no matter what the name is, I'm looking forward to see the next versio...
I was just wondering, what were you doing for such a long time... :) I guess, calling it v1.1 would be better, considering the new core. Speaking of which, is the "30% faster" applies only to SSSE3 and SSE4.1 extension support, or can be expected for example with SSE2 too? Better multi-core support ...
